SoVCONY Mission

SoVCONY’s mission is to end preventable blindness through eye examinations and eyewear.

Despite having yearly benefits, most Americans go to the eye doctor every 3 years if they have vision coverage. If a person does not have vision coverage, they only go when they see a problem. Our mission can be achieved if patients get their eyes checked as much as they get their teeth cleaned (every 6 months) and patients over 40 years of age (every 3 months). The causes of preventable blindness in the U.S. (glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, cataracts) can all be diagnosed and treated years before the patient sees a problem in their vision. SoVCONYs Philanthropy 

For every member that joins, a person in Haiti is provided an eye examination, a pair of glasses and a pair of sunglasses

For every member that joins the contact lens plan, a person in Haiti is provided with pterygium surgery or cataract surgery.

For every member that joins the platinum plan, a donation is made to the scholarship fund for an Optometry student at School of Optometry & Vision Sciences at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of I’Université d’État d’Haïti in its capital city Port-au-Prince.

Eye Exams

We offer thorough eye exams, as well as treatment services for issues such as pink eye, glaucoma, macular degeneration, or cataracts. Our eye doctors invite you to come in, and are ready to attend to your eye health needs.

Eye Glasses

We have the latest in high quality eyeglass frames and lenses. We provide all types of lens treatments, such as scratch-resistant coatings, non-glare coatings, photochromic, UV protection, and polarized.

Contact Lenses

We carry the most up to date contact lenses (spherical, multi-focal, color, and for astigmatism), and Dr. Williams performs a custom fitting to find the lens that is right for you. Please inquire about the contact lenses that reshape your eye while you sleep, and eliminate the need for glasses.
